How to remove Jailbreak from iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad
Method 1: Best option
is to restore your device. Make sure you take a backup because you will
losing all your data present on the device. I prefer to take backup on
iCloud as it backs up everything. Backup in iTunes will not have Music
and Apps backed up. Now connect your iOS device to iTunes and click on
Restore. You will be prompted to take backup before you restore. Once
the restore is completed, your device would be jailbreak free. You can
now restore your backup to get back all your information. This is the
safest method.
Method 2: This method would just remove Cydia and not the jailbreak. It basically hides your jailbreak. Open Cydia and tap on Manage from bottom bar. Now go to Packages and look for Cydia Installer. Tap on Cydia Installer then select Remove
on top right menu. Let the process finish and Cydia will be removed.
Make sure you remove any jailbreak tweaks you have installed before
removing Cydia.
